But there’s something about getting a card, right? Seeing that someone cared enough to buy you a little something just for the fun of it. Opening the envelope, seeing the writer’s smirk as they wait for you to read their carefully-chosen-for-the-small-space words. Seeing the design that made them smile and think of you. And finally, reading whatever it is they wanted to tell you in a way that you could keep it forever.
